Ecology & Bushfire Risk for New Dwelling

Ecology & Bushfire Risk for New Dwelling

Yarramine Environmental was engaged by a private landholder to prepare, lodge, and manage a Material Change of Use (MCU) development application to the Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LVRC) for approval of a dwelling in Murphys Creek.  Planning approval was required as the proposed dwelling site was situated within a biodiversity area containing regulated vegetation and designated koala habitat.

In addition to preparing town planning reports and providing development advice, Yarramine’s services included conducting Ecological Impact and Bushfire Assessments to support the proposal.

Thanks to our multidisciplinary expertise, we delivered a comprehensive package of services to the client, eliminating the need for a separate town planner.  This streamlined approach resulted in a more efficient and cost-effective project, benefiting both the client and Council.
