Yarramine Environmental was engaged by Georgiou to provide aquatic and terrestrial Fauna Spotter Catcher services as part of its $80 million contract to deliver the 2022 Flood Recovery Project (North) for the Toowoomba Regional Council.

The project focused on restoring roads and culverts damaged by flooding events across the Darling Downs region in late 2021 and 2022.  It encompassed sites stretching as far north as Yarraman, south to Toowoomba, east to Ravensbourne, and west to Bowenville.

Works primarily included the safe capture and relocation of wildlife during dewatering and tree clearing activities but also included animal breeding place surveys at several of the project sites.
